Rishi Rajvanshi

Rishi currently serves as Director for Innovations and Donor Engagement at Room to Read India and is part of Country Management Team. In this role, he leads a diversified portfolio which includes - Learning & Innovation, development of new program proposals/models, Communications and Donor engagement activities. Prior to transitioning to this portfolio, Rishi had served in Program Operations for 5 years where he led FL and Girls ed projects in partnership with USAID, UNICEF, IKEA Foundation, Central Square Foundation and Warburg Pincus.

In his earlier role with Pratham (2006-18), he had led various FLN projects across states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab including implementation of TaRL initiative in partnership with J-PAL in Haryana (2011-13) which is regarded as one of the most impactful education interventions. Rishi has also represented at various international platforms like “All Children Reading” workshop in 2012 in Rwanda and at Nepal Planning Commission meeting in 2015. He was also part of the International Collaboration Unit of Pratham in 2017 and was part of the ASER team as a student volunteer in 2005.  

He has completed his PGDBM (specialisation in Rural Management) from IRM Jaipur in 2006 and BA (Economics, History and English Literature) from Ajmer, Rajasthan in 2003.
