Bhagyalakshmi Balaji

Bhagya is the Director, Program Operations at Room to Read India. She leads and assists with the strategic and tactical implementation of Room to Read's various programs in India. She joined Room to Read in 2022 and has been an instrumental player in building the implementational technicalities of Literacy program as Associate Director- Literacy Program.

She has over 15 years of extensive experience in program design and implementation, operations management, monitoring and evaluation, budget management, donor relations and policy advocacy in non-profit sector. She brings together her experience of classroom practice, curriculum development, content creation and teacher professional development to implement sustainable education projects.

She holds a master’s in education with a specialization in educational management and administration from Central University, India.
