Nimrat Singh

Nimrat Singh is Director of People Operations at Room to Read India, where she provides strategic leadership for capacity building and human capital management across the organization. With over 20 years of experience in diverse sectors including non‑profits, start‑ups and operationally stable organizations, she oversees talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development and compliance and compensation, aligning workforce strategies with Room to Read’s mission of transforming lives through literacy and gender equality in education.

Before joining Room to Read India she held leadership roles at Bharti Foundation, Grameen Foundation India, Reliance Retail, Airtel and Hyper Quality. As chief human resources officer at QBOID IOTECH she led organizational certification and compliance initiatives that contributed to the company’s recognition as a great place to work.

Nimrat is recognized for her ability to align HR practices with organizational goals build talent pipelines and implement HR management systems like DarwinBox. She has also pioneered performance management frameworks that enhance productivity and employee engagement.

She holds a PDGM in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and is a certified NLP leadership coach. Her dedication to human capital development drives operational excellence and long‑term growth at Room to Read India.
